We aim to influence government and public institutions on behalf of the Black business community in a positive, visible, and proactive manner. We will maintain a bipartisan approach to advocating. Planning Committees

This is to ensure that Black Business Community have a voice at all tables where economic development is concerned. To ensure we have a seat at table of for your particular sector be sure to let us know how we can assist you in your Industry.

Policy Committees are designed to develop policies reflecting the best interests of the Black diaspora business community. Each committee provides an opportunity for our members to identify and respond to issues they believe directly impact local commerce and the community. On a monthly basis, policy proposals are forwarded to the Policy Forum for debate and approval. Once approved they form the consensus used to lobby all three levels of government on behalf of Chamber members.

Synergy Groups
Much like policy committees, synergy groups of the CBCC are designed to create member value by bringing together like minded members with a common agenda to network and develop policy positions to help create the best environment for business. Members of the Chamber’s synergy group meet on an as needed basis and discuss issues pertinent to their areas of interest and expertise. Synergy group members can present issues to Policy Forum, when policy approval is required. To learn more about a synergy group or to join one contact our office Administrator.
