Community Advisory Council (CAC)
The Community Advisory Council (CAC) is a body composed of NACA Community partners. Its mandate is to discuss issues in which the NACA its membership and those members of the CAC can work together to raise public awareness regarding diversity, such as the Supplier Diversity Procurement Program. The NACA will share with all governments and Corporate Canada the plethora of Social and economic benefits of providing a more diverse business community.
Committees and Task Forces
Comprised of NACA members will be charged with identifying issues of importance to the organization and aiding in development of a strategic plan for addressing them. Whether it is advocacy in government or business, education on new and emerging business technologies, employee rights, trade, or other issues of importance to the Black Community, NACA committees will be active in steering sound policies for implementation.
Task forces will be named from time to time to address specific problems that arise. NACA task forces will bring together representatives from both committees and councils to share expertise and ideas in developing recommendations for addressing the issue at hand.
